Disclosure Statement

Welcome to my Practice. As you know, I am a practitioner of homeopathy. I trained at the College of Homeopathy in England between 1981 and 1984 and I have been in professional practice since that time. I did post-graduate training in Greece and India. I am certified through the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CCH) and registered with the North American Society of Homeopaths (RSHom NA). I abide by the code of ethics of both organizations. I have been living and working in San Francisco since 1995.

Homeopathy views health and illness in a holistic manner. In working with the whole person, the homeopath takes into consideration the mental/emotional situation and general well being of a person as well as specific physical symptoms. Homeopathy works by stimulating the body's own capacity to heal and exploring the fundamental causes of ill health. At times with homeopathic treatment there can be a minor aggravation or worsening of some symptoms soon after taking a remedy as part of the general healing process.

My goal in the homeopathic interview is to explore your health concerns and to suggest the most likely homeopathic remedy to fit your situation. I am not a licensed physician and my services are not licensed by the state. My work as a homeopath is to complement existing licensed medical practices and I recommend you retain the services of a primary care physician or other licensed provider for appropriate medical evaluations, diagnoses and treatment.

In order to use my services, California state law requires that you acknowledge receipt of the information provided in this form and that you sign it. You will receive a copy. I will keep the original in my records for at least 3 years.

My method of treatment, homeopathy, is alternative or complementary to healing arts that are licensed by the state of California. Under section 2053.5 and 2053.6 of California's Business and Professions Code, I can offer you these services, subject to requirements and restrictions as described above.

If you ever have any concerns about the nature of your treatment, please feel free to discuss them with me. I recommend that you inform other health care providers that you are receiving homeopathic treatment.
